Took my friends dog there to have bone removed. Said it was in the intestines in 2 spots. They opened him up and said he had liver cancer sawed him up did not put a drain tub and said his going to dye. Took him to other Vet and the bone was down by his butt. Took it out and liver was not working right because of blockage. So they did a surgery they didn't have to be done and Bob the dog is suffering. My friend told them the last time he did this it was by his butt. They should have checked there first.

Took my cat in for vomiting, My cat is usually pretty calm natured. I mistakenly took him in with out a crate thinking it wouldn't be an issue. Since my cat was stressed out and not feeling good he was hissing. The vet told me she would have to "knock him out" and proceeded to bring in a feral crate, and again very uncompassionately said she would have to "knock out" my cat. I told her I didn't want to have to do that and she left the room. I tried to calm my cat down and asked for a box. As I was walking out the door the receptionist said, "Ma'am there is an office visit". I paid $30 for them to see me a total of 2 minutes and do absolutely nothing. Come to find out New Hope had referred me to Southside animal hospital which is right down the road and not this place. If they would have listened when I stated I had an appointment and looked at the schedule they would have seen that I didn't even have an appointment and could have sent me on my way to people that actually care about the health of my pet!
Dr Jamie goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of my animals! I couldn't ask for a more caring and compassionate vet to take care of my animals.
