Pretty good food, pretty cheap and a welcoming atmosphere
Very disappointed. I hadn't eaten at a Shoney's in years and had fond memories of the buffet. I should have known that at prime dining time there was only a handful of folks milling about. The buffet was sparse and the offerings were ok at best. Service was adequate however the place seemed to need some care. It's too bad.
First and foremost, we went around 6 pm with my family. They had only one of the two steaks thawed for our dinner. The lettuce on the salad bar was wilted and I'm afraid a lot of what they had on the salad bar wasn't tested for temperature because the cottage cheese was warm. The steaks (ordered medium) were sent out well done with some medium rare spots. Overall , the waitress was alright, but the food was not alright.
This place is very clean and got restrooms and I got one of them call machines in it that you can sit at booster table you can order off the menu or had the buffet and a lot of times do I have buffet for breakfast will they do have it for breakfast and lunch and supper but sometimes they've got like half and half you know where you can have breakfast anytime but I've ordered off the menu and I have had the Buffet the food is good the Waitresses are very courteous and is very clean I like it there
