I called and complained about what they had done and it got no where. Days later we contacted them again and after awhile they promised to discount the arrangement by $75.00 and would credit our account. NOPE THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN EITHER. We got our statement from teleflora and it had not be credited and this was 3 weeks later. We called again and they refused to pay the difference with a credit card and said they would send it in again. I DOUBT IT. Screwing up arrangements and Gouging someone on flowers for a funeral that says a lot about these people.
We are in the floral flower business and ALWAYS do what we say or it's FREE. Our Uncle passed away in Henderson, Kentucky last month and we trusted Shaw's to provide a funeral spray arrangement for $225.00 which we thought was outrageous (here in Knoxville, Tn. would cost $150.00 to $175.00 MAX), and a large Dish Garden for $75.00 which seemed to be inline for what we were asking. Being Florists ourselves we thought it was taken care of ESPECIALLY since they knew we were florists as well. At the receiving of friends the arrangement was horrid looking. To the composing of this complaint we still don't know what they were trying to do. The flowers we asked be used were all there but the arrangement was absolutely horrible looking. The dish garden was good but like everybody else they bought it from a wholesaler and simply resold it to us. Hard to screw that up. The following day at the funeral the flowers were mostly DEAD. We took photographs.
Received 1 floral arrangement & two potted plants for my Fathers funeral from Shaw's teleflorist. The arrangement had wilting flowers in it & one of the potted plants is already wilted & drooping one day later. The other is very sparse. I would not suggest using this florist. It's sad people from out of town spend their money thinking they are sending one thing & they get something else.
I've always had great experience at shaw's when I wanna get flowers for my loved ones ..
These people are not only terrible florists but will lie to cover their tracks. If by chance you think we aren't telling you the truth there is someone by the name of Lori who had the EXACT same thing happen to her and we don't know her we just now saw it on here.
